A new installation of OS X can be super long and tedious. The actual installing of Lion or Mountain Lion or whatever is pretty fast. It’s the subsequent hours of figuring out what your old settings were that’s a huge pain in the neck. I gave a short talk at the new Gainesville Mobiquity office to the team about tricks and tips for setting up your dev environment quickly and (more importantly) exactly the way you want.
